We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Associate to join our dynamic healthcare team in Saint Louis, Missouri. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care by examining patients, diagnosing medical conditions, and developing treatment plans. We are hiring for a Full Time and/or Part Time. We are looking for a candidate who has experience in wound care specifically.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and patient history.
• Diagnose and manage a wide array of health issues, both acute and chronic.
• Prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and make referrals to other specialists as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Associate in the state of Missouri.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in wound care center or outpatient office
• Strong knowledge of disease prevention and health management.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and healthcare IT systems
• Wound care certification from a nationally recognized body
• Experience with tissue allografts as well as experience in various care settings: outpatient, home, facility is desired
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
