Your Opportunity: As a Benefits Specialist at Simploy, you will be at the heart of our mission, ensuring that our clients' employees receive the best possible benefits packages. The Benefits Specialist will oversee compliance and plan administration processes, ensuring timely and accurate handling of benefit plan renewals, compliance documentation, and system configurations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills for broker and client interactions, and technical expertise to manage system-related tasks effectively.

Job Duties: 

As our Benefits Specialist, you'll be at the core of delivering exceptional service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating with brokers and co employees to develop attractive and cost-effective benefit plans/packages for our clients.
  • Provide strategic input and external coordination to ensure successful renewals.
  • Ensure all timeframes and deadlines are met regarding benefit renewals, new group implementations, enrollments, and changes.
  • Creating engaging communication and educational materials to empower employees with knowledge about their benefits.
  • Prepare and maintain Wrap Documents, Benefit Guides, and Annual Notices.
  • Manage benefit reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Configure benefit plans in Prism, ensuring technical accuracy and usability; Maintain system-related configurations for smooth operational execution.
  • Develop and distribute compliance-related documentation, including annual notices.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for brokers during renewals and compliance-related tasks.
  • Communicate benefit changes, updates, and documentation to clients effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience with ACA processing, compliance documentation, and benefit renewals.
  • Strong knowledge of benefits legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
